We are searching for a Tech Lead to be the engineering leader of our backend team. This role requires a combination of strong technical and leadership capabilities. You’ll be responsible for managing an engineering team (1-2 people ), owning the software architecture and infrastructure, engaging with the business to understand the product needs, and overseeing the technical direction and delivery.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Product Manager to lead the project and help our customers achieve their goals
- Be a hands-on contributor on the project, developing features together with the team
- Architect and oversee the development of complex web and mobile applications using Django and Flutter, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Manage the technical delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope
- Select and update technologies that are most appropriate for the clients's needs, ensuring they align with our standards
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in web and mobile development, continuously enhancing our technology stack.
- Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of our applications by integrating best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring the quality and maintainability of our codebase.
- Drive innovation and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in Django and Flutter.
- Proficient in English
- Great communication skills
- Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex web and mobile applications.
- Deep understanding of design patterns, system architecture, and best practices in software development.
- Strong experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Proficient in CI/CD practices and tools, ensuring smooth deployment and integration processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding development teams.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively in a remote, dynamic environment.
