Property Management Legal Assistant

 We are seeking a resourceful and proactive Legal Assistant with a background in property management or real estate law to support the operations of our apartment business. 


This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, solves problems independently, and doesn’t need constant guidance – someone who can “deliver a letter to Garcia” (Read more about the reference here). 


The position is project based and requires a hands-on individual capable of handling various tasks related to property management, legal matters, and Homeowners Association (VvE) interactions.


Responsibilities

  • Handle the legal aspects related to property reconstruction
  • Serve as the main point of contact with VVE. Attend VvE meetings, address concerns related to property management and reconstruction, and ensure compliance with VvE rules and regulations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the reconstruction of the property.
  • Monitor the financial aspects of reconstruction projects, including managing budgets, tracking expenses, and working with accountants or financial advisors to maintain transparency in financial records.
  • Conduct basic legal and technical research when necessary, identifying solutions to any challenges that arise during reconstruction or in relation to property laws.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, real estate, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in property management, legal assistance, or project coordination within the real estate or construction sector, especially involving reconstruction projects.
  • Perfect English and Dutch
  • Proficiency in handling legal documentation related to real estate, including leases, contracts, permits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Problem-Solving Ability

Nice to have

  • Law graduates or experienced paralegals in real estate are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Homeowners Association (VvE) Regulations
  • Proficiency in Russian 
  • Strong analytical skills
